Doyle Rogers Artist at the Broadmoor Galleries
I began my art career drawing, oil painting and dabbling in mixed media as a young child. Throughout my formative years I was blessed to be able to travel extensively throughout the US and abroad. Something was special about the West and I found myself exploring the West on a regular basis. I feel at peace in a Western landscape and find it a tremendous source of inspiration for my work.
I greatly enjoy the hues and rock stratification layers in a Western landscape and incorporate them into my stacked technique found in many of my sculptures.
Education: BA Art History- University of Georgia 1997
Doyle resides in the outskirts of Metro Atlanta and is known for large and detailed public art installations in stainless and carbon steel. His work can be found in many private collections, public installations and at the Booth Western Art Museum.
